 Expectations:

• Strong knowledge of language acquisition theories, particularly academic language support for Cambridge curriculum subjects.
• Ability to co-teach or collaborate with subject teachers to ensure students understand key vocabulary, sentence structures, and content expectations.
• Skilled in scaffolding techniques and providing linguistic and conceptual support for struggling learners in smaller groups or embedded sessions.
• Create resources that align with the curriculum but are linguistically accessible.
• Confident in tracking language progress and adjusting instruction accordingly.
• Experience with multilingual learners, especially in academic writing, listening comprehension, and oral fluency for subject-specific tasks.
• Provide training or guidance to subject teachers on language-sensitive pedagogy.
• English fluently
• Graduated from English pedagogy major or English major + pedagogical certificate
