Vinschool is seeking a dynamic, experienced expatriate school leader. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in a leadership role within a bilingual or international school setting.
The Vice Principal provides leadership, inspiration, and guidance to teaching staff; ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of the school; and contributes effectively as a key member of the School Leadership Team. The role is responsible for all daily operational functions of the school, including fostering and maintaining a high-performance culture for both students and staff.

- nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders. The Vice Principal reports to the school Principal
Role Overview
The role is responsible for leading the following activities and delivering the associated key tasks:
- Deliver an outstanding educational experience for students from grade 6 to 12 that aligns with the school‘s vision.
- Lead a data-driven approach to tracking students’ progress across all year groups and at all stages.
- Implement a rigorous process for assessment, recording and reporting in order to ensure that data is constantly being used to inform teaching and learning strategies and to improve pupil progress and achievement.
- Establish a culture of academic accountability throughout the whole school and deliver academic success, particularly at Cambridge IGCSE and A level.
- Line-manage lead teachers to encourage innovative teaching practice consistent with the school’s vision.
- Ensure internal and external exams are run efficiently and in accordance with all exam regulations.
- Oversee suitable academic extension programmes within the curriculum and co-curriculum.
- Annually review all school policies and documentation related to the academic curriculum, teaching and learning, and assessment, and propose revisions where appropriate.
- Run academic information events for students and parents and oversee parents’ meetings.
- Work with the Head of Admissions in order to ensure that there is a rigorous admissions process for entry to the School.
- Contribute to the collection and dissemination of all information relating to the School for the purposes of marketing and communication.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of the whole school.
- Support the Principal to recruit and retain the very best teaching talent.
- Contribute to the highest standards of safeguarding and pastoral care.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development.
- Demonstrate commitment to networking and sharing good practice across Vinschool.

Mandatory Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Education
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in an academic leadership role, preferably as a Head of Department, Vice Principal, or equivalent; however, consideration will be given to outstanding candidates who show clear potential to succeed in the role.
- Eligibility to Work in Vietnam: Must meet all legal and visa requirements for employment in Vietnam.
