Thông tin chung
Vinschool is seeking an experienced educational leader to lead the development and quality of our high school programs across the system.
This is a system-level academic leadership role with a broad mandate: to shape how our high school curriculum, academic pathways, student outcomes, university preparation, and partnerships come together to give every student strong foundations and meaningful choices for life beyond school.
The Role
As High School Program Director, you will help shape the strategic direction and architecture of Vinschool’s high school provision, spanning the Vietnamese national curriculum, A Levels, elective credit courses, advanced academic programs, university preparation, and academic and career counselling.
Working closely with senior leadership and school leaders across the system, you will translate educational strategy into coherent programs, standards, pathways, and measurable student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape the 3–5 year direction and overall architecture of Vinschool’s high school programs and learning pathways.
- Lead the design, review, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of high school curricula across multiple campuses.
- Research and benchmark leading national and international high school models, identifying opportunities for innovation and new academic pathways.
- Drive improvements in student academic outcomes, including key examinations, university admissions, scholarships, and progression to leading universities in Vietnam and internationally.
- Lead the system-wide framework for academic advising, career guidance, and university preparation, ensuring students receive coherent and personalised support.
- Build strategic relationships with universities and educational organisations in Vietnam and internationally, creating meaningful opportunities for students through scholarships, credit recognition, early university experiences, research, and other academic partnerships.
- Develop and lead high-performing academic teams, including program coordinators, subject leaders, and academic advisers.
- Establish KPIs, quality assurance mechanisms, and data systems to monitor program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
Who we are looking for
- Brings 7–10+ years of experience in K–12 education and/or university and career guidance, including at least 3–5 years in a senior academic leadership role.
- Has demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, or leading academic programs at scale, ideally across multiple schools or campuses.
- Understands both Vietnamese and international high school education, including curriculum structures, assessment systems, and university admissions pathways.
- Has a strong track record in improving student academic outcomes and supporting successful progression to leading universities.
- Has experience building relationships and partnerships with universities and educational organisations.
- Combines strategic and systems thinking with the ability to translate vision into practical implementation.
- Is confident leading change, developing academic teams, and influencing senior school leaders.
- Uses data and evidence to evaluate quality and guide decision-making.
- Is fluent in English, with the ability to negotiate, present, and work professionally with international partners.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or above in Education Management, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, Educational Assessment, Educational Psychology, a core secondary academic discipline, or a related field.
- Doctoral qualifications are an advantage.
- IELTS 7.0 or equivalent English proficiency, or completion of a degree taught in English.
Why Vinschool?
This role offers the opportunity to influence high school education at system scale, working across curriculum, student pathways, academic quality, and university partnerships rather than within the boundaries of a single school.
You will have the opportunity to shape new academic models, strengthen pathways to leading universities, develop educational leaders, and contribute directly to how Vinschool prepares students for an increasingly complex and competitive future.
If you are an educational leader who combines academic depth, strategic thinking, and a strong commitment to student outcomes, we would welcome the opportunity to connect.
